We compile the programs on VM. I am in the process of checking the libraries.

Steve,
ILBONTR0 is an OS/VS COBOL compatibility subroutine. Is your COBOL
routine compiled with OS/VS COBOL and do you have the OS/VS COBOL
library (VSCLLIB, I think) available?
