No, certainly not average clients. I was talking about those who are authorized to issue special commands to TCPIP. And as long as the server is running it would be a bit unpractical to take advantage of the ability to link disks. But if you're in a larger shop you may have different people dealing with the network products and that group may be broader than just yourself. You know LNKNOPAS is not just read but also write access...
