There are a number of new features in the Hobbit client that bb didn't
have, so I would be inclined to say no. I posted the question on the
hobbit list though.

I have created Hobbit RPMs for the s390 and s390x architectures. Hobbit
is an open source network services availability monitor
(http://hobbitmon.sourceforge.net). They are available on sourceforge
(http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=128058).
These RPMs have been created and tested with SLES9.
