Alan Earlier in this thread I listed a few more details of what we have tried. The Lebowitz document was the one we originally used to set up the CTCs in IOCP. We have been sucessully using CTC links between all of the LPARs using RSCS links, JES2 links, etc. The only type of link we have been having problems with is TCP/IP. Also ,there are 2 or 3 other CTC links between the specific LPARs involved here and they are working successfully. We've even taken the same CTC pairs TCP/IP is using and defined them for RSCS links and they connect fine. It must be something with how TCP/IP uses the Read and Write pairs instead of multiplexing them like RSCS does. We also know the TCP/IP's are physically seeing each other because activity on one end (pinging etc.) sets off the Units checks on the other end. Ron Greve
