I would  definitely not just import a directory from another system.  Look around for the direct file that must have gotten restored when you restored the system.  Going from z/VM 5.1 to 5.2 has got to have given you some mdisks that are of a different size and location.  Jim Ranga Nathan wrote: Just installed z/VM 5.2 in our test lpar.
