At the risk of stating the obvious, if the CSECOM tasks are starting but not synchronizing the systems with each other: 1) Do both systems have identical XSPOOL_SYSTEM statements in their system config files? The slot numbers for system1 and system2 must be the same in the config files for both systems. 2) Did you issue START CSECOM from the PVMs of each system to the other system? You have to start CSECOM from both ends in order for them to find each other. From system1: SMSG PVM START CSECOM system2 From system2: SMSG PVM START CSECOM system1 Once the CSECOM tasks synchronize the systems, the CSE functions that you said are not working yet will be working.
