Hi, Trying to install z/vm 5.2 from tape. Doing a First level installation. Everthing went fine until i run INSTVM. Then i get the following message.
hcpivm8342e the command pipe cp link avsvm 191 802 wr failed with rc=10 8 detach and link of maints disk procedure failed. INSTVM execution failed. I tried to a reinstall and reviewed every step, but still got the same message. . z/vm messages manual is not very useful. HCP8342E THE COMMAND command FAILED WITH RC=rc Explanation: The COMMAND named failed with the return code stated. . Has anyone encountered this problem before ? Where can i find the meaning of RC=108 ? . Appreciate any advise on this. Caleb
