I have learned that the Softcopy Librarian is dependent on files that we only create when we create a CD. Since we don't refresh the CD between releases, the updated versions of those files are not created. As a result, the Librarian is only going to work correctly on the CD content. My only suggestion is to discuss it with the Software Librarian folks and see if they have any ideas. Oh, and perhaps you can run the Indexing utility on some other system where it doesn't crash?
