Doug, IBM Tape Manager for z/VM does not yet support STK silos. It currently
supports IBM tape devices only. Whether you are using Tape Manager in standard mode (with the tape catalo g in Tape Manager on z/VM) or in RMM mode (using RMM as the tape catalog), the device interface is handled by Tape Manager. So the STK support has to be specifically added to Tape Manager. We definitely understand the requirement to support STK hardware, so watch this space.
