'DEVICE(TERM) FILE(fm ft fm)' turns out to be the trick. DEV(3270) still
puts 3270 highlighting commands in the file (which don't play nice if
the txt file is going off to other platforms). TERM appears to assume a
really dumb TTY terminal and adds nothing.
