Folks, I spoke with our SES rep TamiZ, who informed me the Perfkit Program Directory does in fact cover local type modifications to the FCONX $PROFILE (and a couple other files as well). This is documented in section 6.2.1 Tailoring Performance Toolkit for VM Customization files. You need to treat these changes as 'local mods' so that SES can be aware
of this for future service/etc. You can get the latest program directories at: www.vm.ibm.com/progdir If there are still concerns after this, by all means call this in to get the ball rolling so we can head off any problems for other customers as well.
