Adam,

Does the following "base" count? <grin>

Davis-Mothan Air Force Base (assuming they have an A-27 there. I know they used
to have a C-54)

The C-54 Skymaster versus an A-27 pursuit plane

*       C54 - Length: 93 ft 10 in (28.6 m)
*       Wingspan <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wingspan> : 117 ft 6 in (35.8 m)
*       Height: 27 ft 6 in (8.38 m)
*       Wing area: 1,460 ft² (136 m²)

*       A-27 - Length: 29ft 0in ()
*       Wingspan <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wingspan> : 42ft 0in ()
*       Height: 12ft 2in ()

As a child, I flew in the C-54s. Not old enough for when the A-27s flew (WWII)
although most went to the Philippines and I lived there 12 years later.

New math.

I'll give you a dollar if you can show me a base in which 54 is more than two
and a half times as big as 27.
