Even if you did not make a typo, this action would still make your TOD
run something else than GMT (GMT+1 I suppose) which is not what you
want.

Even if you ignore the time displayed by z/VM now, you still need to
manually correct the date and time on your Linux servers when you
reboot because of the TOD being set wrong. And fooling VM with a
custom timezone will not help that. You'll have to IPL and make sure
you fix not only the year but also the time.

Maybe you can find a pair of 9037's on e-bay and have those steer your
TOD to run a bit faster to catch up. Will take *very* long though...
