Chris--Another possibility for the operator's console log is that it has not been closed and, if so, would not exist as a file you could view. If you are on the OPERATOR userid, enter 'CP Q P ALL *'. You will see something that looks like this:

cp q p all * ORIGINID FILE CLASS RECORDS CPY HOLD DATE TIME NAME TYPE OPERATOR 7149 A CON 00001263 001 NONE OPEN- 0009 Ready; T=0.01/0.01 14:52:35 That may or may not be the console file from the time of the ipl. You can close it by entering 'CP CL 00E'. The file will then be in the OPERATOR's reader spool or the printer spool. You can enter 'CP Q R ALL *' and/or 'CP Q P ALL *', looking for a file that you have a date/time that would match your ipl time/date. If the file you want is in the rdr spool, you can do a PEEK /spool_id./ If it is still in the printer spool, enter 'TRANSFER * P /spool_id /to * R' and then PEEK it.

You could look at the operator's console log, which is either in his reader
or goes into prop if you have that running. Q IPLPARMS is also helpful.
