It sounds as if this would do what we want but I guess there is an issue with licensing a new product on multiple systems as an interim solution (maybe only 1 year) for a handful of users. I guess it may come down to cost but, with IBM's pricing policy based on machine size rather than partition size or usage, I am not hopeful. It is a pity that PVM only uses proprietary PVM-PVM communication between VM systems ;-( Anyway - certainly worth checking out.
