It's virtual and that worked.  THANK YOU!  I was unsure as to how to do
the DEFINE.

Are you dealing with a VIRTUAL CTC, or a real device?

If virtual, then your SEND CP TCPIP DET 2030 took it completely out of
existence. You'd need to redefine it and couple it to the other
virtual
machine:

SEND CP TCPIP DEFINE CTC 2030 USER VMTEST

Then:

SEND CP TCPIP COUPLE 2030 TO VMTEST 2000

If this was a real CTC, any you're trying to remove it from TCPIP and
attach
it to VMTEST, to connect to some other physical machine, then you'd do
the
attach from MAINT, as TCPIP may not have the necessary privs.
