Hi Listers, I have been reading the zVM 5.3 GI manual and FAQ about how 5.3 can be ordered, delivered and installed.
page 20 of the GI states that DVD can be moved to a mdisk and then installed from the mdisk. "This provides more options for customer environments and can facilitate electronic delivery of z/VM" The answer to the last question on page 53 of the FAQ has a note saying that "The z/VM base operating system cannot be delivered using Internet delivery of ShopzSeries" Since the note in the FAQ is in an answer talking about SDO does it mean that the z/VM base can't be delivered on its own but can be if part of a SDO ?
