At a general rule, all CMS users should be MACHINE XC. Any old IF MACHINE_MODE <> "XA" THEN <do something 370ish> code needs to be cleaned out, anyway, as there's no such thing a 370-mode CMS any more and the machines don't have 370 microcode in them. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
