I'm pretty sure you don't want to have even a fraction of what IBM thinks is good for their own employees :-)

With the CMS Pipelines Runtimes Library (which you also need for the PIPEDDR package) you have already more than what IBM thinks is good... But 'terse' is not part of that. The Piper normally has a good reason not to put something in the runtime library, but I don't know the motivation in this particular case. You could ask on CMSPIP-L if you have strong desires. Rob
