Hi,
It's that time, even a bit late, to get out the word that it's time to
start volunteering to chair sessions at SHARE in San Diego!! (Only just
finally got approval to go myself, so I was on the edge of my seat for
awhile there!)
Yes, that's right, it's time to sign up to bask in the glory and gain all
the phenomenal cosmic powers attributed to those fine, esteemed individuals
known as Chair Bears. You get acknowledgement from your peers, a pat on the
back, an "attaboy" or "attagirl" for a job well done. You get to introduce
fabulous and interesting speakers, and collect evaluation forms. You get to
keep the speaker in line by informing them of timing, letting them know
when their time is almost up.
You don't get to attend SHARE for free. You have to be a registered
attendee for the days you are chairing sessions. You should not be chairing
your OWN sessions. You don't get to shoot the speaker if they go over time.
So come one, come all, here's the list of sessions that need chairs. Filled
on a first-come-first-serve basis or bribery (kidding!)...get yours early!
Note: if a session is missing, it probably means that it is already
assigned a chair. However, let me know, or if you see any other errors in
this listing; I will check with "the powers that be" to confirm the status
and make any necessary corrections.
This one is by session number for now. I will follow up with a "by
day/time" list in another day or two.
