Because of my usual blindness, I sent the note below directly to Rick when I had intended for it to go to the list. Better belated than never.
_________________________________________ Congratulations to all new knights. Rick, You should not have been surprised. Admitted, your products are niche products. However, they have filled a very important niche for some very large VM shops. Without them, TPF development would be very primitive, small scale, and expensive compared to what it is today. VPARS and VTAPE were absolutely essential as enablers for growth in this area. In addition, you have set a very high standard in customer support, one which is met by very few. I wonder how the knights overlooked you in the past. When I read my name on the list it came as a complete surprise. My thanks to whoever nominated me and those that thought I was worthy of such an honor. I do love VM and wish I could have attended its birthday party to give my thanks in person.
