"Mother" would be proud. If you can spare a few extra disk packs, this is probably the least complex and least risky method. > Can I put maintenance on with those instances up? You certainly can run SERVICE with everything up. As you note, I'd schedule PUT2PROD for my maintenance window just in case it decides to do something unexpected.
