If there is no standard timeout time, how can TCPIP
decide when to restart a server machine?

Wouldn't it make sense for the timeout value to be
a settable value? And in Aria's case, it would be
convenient to have it settable *per server*.

But most values are not done that way.
It still looks weird for it NOT to be a consistent time.
