The default is indeed a R/O access, but no, it doesn't use ACCESSM0 (yet).
We use it to access disks of our other VM systems.

But, since we've got even better MDSK is not much used.  The more clever
version -named FLDISK- first finds the volser of the object directory in a
control file, it then uses DIRENT to extract the directory entry of the
target user.  So, no need to have the directory source of the target. The
control file basically contains Q DASD and Q ALLOC for each VM system,
maintained automatically and sent to all our VM systems.

I'll change FLDISK to make the control file optional, and then I'll place
both MDSK & FLDISK on the download lib with the other requested
enhancements.
