I tried rebooting. Mystery remains unsolved. I'm bringing the pc back to the home office. I will re-install windows & tn3270 emulator. I will be back at mainframe site on friday to test it. Although there is no evidence indicating something is wrong with the pc it is the main suspect at this point....
