Since there are no files to access, and no possibility to add files, an access would make no sense, so the designers of CP-67 decided this should be an error. You can access a r/w empty minidisk because there is the ability to add files. } And any way to *prevent* it from failing? (I'm not after the files I'm after } the disk stats I can only get when the disk is accessed.) Not that I know of.
