No, we did nightly rsync copies of the Oracle database areas only, and then backed up the copies to tape.
My current site has a heavy z/OS presence and they are using FDR. I'm looking into FDR/Upstream zLinux for file level backups. Does anyone have experience with that and their associated products like Rescuer?
