Yes, in google you search 'smtp.client' and VM; ... Velocity Software is the
hits you get.
Though I'd not expect my fav vendor to open the source/Intellectual
property... I am considering asking them for the methodology on how to
educate myself to create one, as it is their product that is the basis of my
crude-IRD.
I will look into the Perl port, David Boyes mentioned.
I had something on SNMP/Netview (SNMPQE) from the TCPIP User's guide; but
we've not had Netview in our VMs for quite awhile;
I defer to Alan as what he says, is what it is.  What it may be, what isn't
said, is my own delusion.
