Rather than ssh can the DS CLI run on a linux guest on zseries?

The CP FLASHCOPY command is available if you have purchased Copy
Services on the dasd (and you can do some stuff with DSF).  There is no
CMS CLI to make the box do your bidding, though you could trigger a
Linux guest to ssh into the controller and use its resident CLI to do
what you need.

And we were just discussing a CMS-based SMI-S client over in the
LINUX-390 listserver yesterday....
