How does one display the 'DEVICE' or "I/O" report for say a 15 minute
interval or longer? All that shows when I select DEVICE is 1 minute.

PerfKit uses 'current', 'interim' and 'report' periods for general reports
like the 'DEVICE' report. You can select the period you want to view
by means of the 'CURrent', 'INTerim' and 'AVErage' commands.

'Current', the initial setting, displays data for the last monitor sample
period. CP's default length for that is 60 seconds, which is why you see
the 1-minute interval. You can set longer CP monitor sample periods
if you wish: see CP MONITOR command.

The length of the 'interim' period can be set by means of the
'FC SET INTERIM' command or the 'FC MONCOLL RESET' cmd. Once set, when you enter the 'INTerim' command you'll be shown the average load since the beginning of the current INTERIM period, so the actual length of the period displayed in realtime mode can be anything between the length of the monitor sample period and the max. length specified by the above command.
When used for automatically printed reports, on the other hand, the
'interim' reports will be generated for the full interim period.
So if you want to see averages for periods up to 15 minutes enter
the command 'FC SET INTERIM 15' and then switch to the INTERIM
period while viewing the displays.

The length of the 'report' period is set by means of the 'FC MONCOLL
RESET' command: each reset time you specify for printed reports will
let the corresponding counters be reset to zero. So, when entering the
'AVErage' command, you'll be shown the average load since the beginning of the current 'report' period.

All this is explained in more detail in chapter 3 'Using Performance Toolkit in Performance Monitor Mode': see sections 'Displaying Current, Interim or Average Data' and 'Resetting Performance Data/ Defining Periods'.
