The real address of your OSAs has nothing to do with the virtual address
used in the CP directory definition. They don't have to match at all.

On the installation server, the starter system NICDEF is where we
preconfigured it, and the configuration files inside the system all
expect a virtual NIC at that address. Just attach the real device to
virtual address 340, or better yet, use a VSWITCH and then you don't
care at all what the physical address is.

On servers you install from the starter system, you can use any virtual
address you want. You still should use the VSWITCH, but the resulting
server doesn't care.
