I agree that VMARC is not likely to stop working, but I think it is more unlikely that VMFPLCD would stop working, and you don't have to g o find it if not present. I still use VMFPLCD to FTP CMS files around, even if a PC is involved. If PC is involved, then I just copyfile pack the envelope first and then use binary transfer. When I upload to the final CMS destination, I specify RE CFM F LRECL 1024 on the upload or FTP and all is well for copyfile unpack and VMFPLCD load. It meets my needs.
