The VMSYS: filepool is there, it's where CMS, CP and a ton of other
system code lives.

You'll probably find it was already installed in the SDO. Even if it's
not there you can execute:

ACCESS VMSYS:MAINT. Z

MAINT will definitely be there. Make sure VMSERVS is up and running
(XAUTOLOG VMSERVS if it is not).

Subject: SFS

Hello List,

I'm reviewing the installation requirements for the DFSMS/VM feature. I
notice that it requires the VMSYS file pool. When I installed VM many
months ago, I selected to install to minidisks instead of SFS. As a
result, the SFS subsystem is not active or configured.

My question: Is there a way to easily create the required SFS
environment/pools or would re-installing VM and selecting SFS be
required?

Thanks.Chris
