Mary Anne,
   You don't just "get one of these names."  It has to be conferred on you
by a committee of your colleagues in the VM community who are already
invested in the Order of Knights of VM.  This is only done when the members
of the committee feel you have made a significant contribution to the VM
operating system or to the VM community.  New Knights are invested every
five years on the n*5th anniversary of the announcement of VM/370.  (The
last class were invested at the Summer SHARE meeting in 2007.)
 
   If your E-mail address is a correct indicator that you're at Penn State,
you might look up Al Williams (Sir Al the Unflappable) for more information.
