Vikesh, you need to attach the device to system so that 'system' can
allocate it out as a mdisk.
ATT A40E SYSTEM

Then, you'll either need to logoff the guest or link to the device on the
guests behalf. We use this:
CP SET SECUSER LINUX1 *
SEND CP LINUX1 LINK * 1000 1000
CP SET SECUSER LINUX1 OFF
