I believe Jim Vincent had a session or two at SHARE on how to do this.

That won't really work for me since the directory entries are already 
there, there's just no real disk at those addresses. I could start hacking 
stuff out of the 4OSASF40 PPF files, but I don't really want to do that. 

I could swear there was a way to tell SES "this product is already up to 
date - ignore that stuff you received for it" but for the life of me I 
can't find that incantation in the books.
