Thanks Jim. This got me what I needed:

16:59:59 DTCAPI001I IucvCheckRc: IUCV retcc 1 iprcode 24 on path 11
function 6
16:59:59 DTCAPI002I Userid SSLSERV TheSockNumber 6

16:59:59 DTCNOT009I *** Wrapup finds empty Notices queue ***

17:00:02 DTCIPI030W StartANewLife: Victim SSLSERV, reason "Restarting
you because KillClient called for reason: Fatal inter-VM communication
error"

HCPLGA054E Already logged on disconnected

USER DSC LOGOFF AS SSLSERV USERS = 63 FORCED BY TCPIP

17:00:12 DTCIPI030W StartANewLife: Victim SSLSERV, reason "Restarting
you because TRYautologging scheduled"
AUTO LOGON *** SSLSERV USERS = 64

Now I've got to figure out what this means!

Thanks again,

Tim

Subject: Re: VM TCP/IP console logging

From a privileged id, i.e. MAINT, enter 'CP Q P ALL TCPIP' and you
should get something like this:

q p all tcpip
ORIGINID FILE CLASS RECORDS CPY HOLD DATE TIME NAME TYPE
TCPIP 0151 A CON 00000174 001 NONE OPEN- 0009
Ready; T=0.01/0.01 15:42:29

This shows that TCPIP has an OPEN console file. Depending on when the
console gets closed, and it may not have been closed since SSLSERV got
recycled, you can enter 'NETSTAT CP CL CONS /your_own_id/' and you will
get the TCPIP console log in your rdr.

By default, the TCPIP and TCPIP related consoles get spooled to the
userid TCPMAINT. You might find what you want there if the console has
already been closed.
