We working on getting RACF for z/VM 5.3 installed today. We are using the RACF Program Directory and the Security on z/VM REDBOOK to assist us with the install. We followed all of the steps at least we thought we did. We got to the point of IPLing the LPAR pointing to the EXTENT 2 to load the CPLOAD module with the RACF code. During the IPL we received the error message HCPLGA6525E 'External Security Manager Unavailable'. We had to drop back! Obviously we missed something does anyone have any thoughts on this?
