So I take this to mean that SHARE will no longer accept requirements
against REXX on z/OS since it appears that it will no longer be
enhanced? I find that very interesting (surprising)... was there an
announcement to that affect?

IBM REXX on z/OS is in 'maintenance mode'. All IBM REXX requirements are
rejected for that reason. Unless something changes, there is no reason to
keep submitting, discussing, and voting on REXX requirements. We are
trying to find who supports IBM REXX on z/VM to see if it is also in
maintenance mode.
