Thanks, Alan. We finally got the other unnamed vendor to realize that streaming unsolicited interrupts is not a good thing to do regardless of whether they "need" the CCW. In this case, the CCW was the RUN done by CP when detaching a pseudo tape unit that tells CP there is a tape mounted.
