Alan or Chuckie? I'm not 100% sure, so Steve Imler may have to chime in, but if your using VM:Tape, VM:Backup, et al, these products may look for certain messages to be posted before doing something else. Of course if you don't use the CA products or DFSMS, this probably doesn't apply.
