The DEFSMON command in Operations Manager for z/VM that I referred to 
earlier supports triggers for both a range of % full (e.g. between 80 and
 
100%, or even 0 and 10% if that's important to you) as well as a sudden 

increase in % full (e.g. jumping more than xx% in the last n minutes.)
