We have a 3390 volume (normally used by TPF) that needs special formatting on Cyl 0
We have a volume where this special formatting is not correct on Cyl 0 H 0 R2 - but CP has no problem with the volume. I can't walk all over Cyl 0 because there is valid data at Cyl 0 H1 Ideally, what I need is a function to copy the one bad record from another good volume but I am not sure how. I have looked at Ditto but, as far as I can see, all I could do is use Disk update and do cut/paste from another window with the good volume - but I don't like that Idea too much. I was wondering about using PIPE TRACKREAD / TRACKWRITE but I would need to be sure I have specified it correctly because I have never used that before. Does anyone have any suggestions?
