Can be done indeed.  But: keep an eye on the old users too: One cannot
really remove an entry from the authorized users, and unless you take
some actions, CP will remain collecting records for your old users
too, and this could consume much storage...  If memory still serves,
the commands are
   RECORDING EREP QID EREP OFF PURGE
   RECORIDNG ACCOUNT QID DISKACNT OFF PURGE
