It was very nice. Barton arranged for a bus to take everyone to the Pichetti winery for dinner and wine. The last part of the bus ride (and the first part of the return) was interesting. Some of the switchbacks and hills were a bit difficult for the full-sized bus to manage. Some backing up and cranking the steering was necessary. Martha MacConaghy commented that if anything disastrous had happened, a good part of the z/VM skills in the world, and a huge chunk of Velocity Software's customer base would have disappeared. Fortunately the bus driver was very capable and got us all home safely. The winery itself was very picturesque, as well as historical, and in a very pretty, wooded area. The wine and food were good, and the deserts even better. :) Barton certainly knows how to put on a good party and take good care of his guests. He even refused to give a speech on the bus, although a number of people were encouraging him to do so. :) All in all, it was a great time. > Are there any pictures ?????? >From what I could see, there were a lot of pictures being taken by various >people.
