I'm trying to debug an SSCH which is giving an operand exception, but I've had
no previous experience with this instruction. Naturally I've read the pop but
by its definition it seems to be ok.
The failing instruction is:

I notice that in the ORB the key, M, Y, and P fields have changed, as well as
the CPA, and the addresses reported by trace have changed from V to R but, if
I understand correctly, none of these should trigger an operation exception.
Any thoughts most welcome.
