Oh, how I wish I had such a boss! Our upper level people are still sold on 
the idea that the System z is simply obsolete, too expensive, and won't 
even consider the possibility of looking at Linux on z. They have 
tightened the purse strings. That means, to them, VMWare on Intel for 
server consolidation.

They listen to the "distributed" or "open" people who will never let a 
chance go by to lie like a politician about the z. As best as I can tell, 
they never listen to anybody from the mainframe side of the world. "Go 
away, boy! You're bothering me!"
