Hi Jack,

The information contained within the information center is the official
published z/VM V5.4 GA documentation. To ensure this is looked at for you,
I have forwarded this as a Reader's Comment Form (RCF) to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] so it will be tracked in our service database. The
"contact z/VM" communication should also end up in there but I want to be
sure this handled.

Thanks,

Thanks Michael .. are these docs preliminary or is this a release /
close-to-a-release?

I ask because there appears to be a real lacuna in z/VM V5R4.0 Systems
Management Application Programming SC24-6122-04.

Version 5.4 introduces two new parameter types compared to 5.3:
1. ASCIIZ null-terminated string
2. uncounted array
These are noted in individual parameter descriptions accompanying
function documentation but not mentioned in the "Data Types" chapter.

I have mentioned this in a "Contact z/VM" communication.
