Dear all, Are there alternatives for SPXTAPE?
I would like to copy the single pack spool with the saved segments from t he newly installed z/VM 5.4 to a spool area that consists of several disks. I would like to avoid regenerating those shared segments. Doing this, I would like to use a DASD instead of a tape. I hoped that z /VM 5.4 would bring a new command for avoiding tapes. Why does the spool backup still needs real tapes? Best regards, Florian
