I went through this exercise a few months back, working first through
Messages and Codes and picking out those messages I thought to be of
interest for our shop. As we use IBM's Operations Manager for VM, I then
formatted those into rule definitions for OpsMgr, matching against HCPMES
REPOS to get the message text which I formatted into comments to go along
with the rule defs in OpsMgr's config. I'd be happy to share, but
unfortunately for general use, I ignored anything to do with tapes or tape
libraries as we don't have VM access to any.
